COLT POLICE POSITIVE TARGET 22 LR: This revolver has very, very little finish left on it. When we received it, it had been shot to death! It needed a barrel. We found one with clean rifling. It was grossly out of time. All of that was corrected. It is an excellent shooter with fully adjustable sights and a 6" barrel. It even has the original factory grips, although the finish reveals how high the round count must be on this classic target revolver from the 1920's. 1930'S ERA COLT OFFICERS MODEL 22 LR TARGET REVOLVER MECHANICALLY PERFECT SUPERB SHOOTER: First off, obviously, the factory grips are not included. When I received this it had rubber grips. I installed these Altamont grips. The add class to a vintage gun and they feel really good. The finish has some freckling. I could have rubbed most of it out with some steel wool, but I don't believe in "hiding" anything. The barrel and chambers are absolutely perfect. The action has never been worked on, it's perfectly timed, it's smoother than the majority of Old Series Pythons because this is how Colt did it prior to WWII. This gun has a checkered hammer, checkered trigger, checkered backstrap, and checkered cylinder release. It has the original period-correct elevation adjustable front sight and the windage adjustable rear sight. You simply wouldn't believe the action and trigger on this revolver! All I did was clean and lube it, because that's all it needed. I ran it through the Blueprinted Accuracy Tuning© inspection, and it needed nothing anywhere. It specs out perfectly. Like other Officers Models, the accuracy is off of the charts. If you want to shoot a revolver that's as accurate as anything made at any price, this gun will do that. SERIES 3 COLT TARGETSMAN (PART OF WOODSMAN SERIES) EXCELLENT CONDITION!: This pistol does not have a finish blemish anywhere on it that I can find. The factory grips have a few nicks, but nothing major. The gun functions perfectly. It has a 6 7/8" barrel and a fully adjustable rear sight. There is no box or papers. It comes with one magazine. These are extremely well-fitted guns. The entire series was discontinued in 1976 because they were too cost-prohibitive. This gun is accurate, has a crisp trigger, and is reliable. A John Browning design. These were built at a level that would be considered "Custom" today. Pistols within the Colt Woodsman series are like precious metal. They just go up. Yours for: $750.00
